A Message from the Trustees
The Trustees and staff of the Hyannis Public Library once again extend to you our sincerest thanks for your past contributions and continued support. Faithful patrons and donors are, as always, the mainstay and lifeblood of our daily, monthly and yearly operations. You enable us to provide the village of Hyannis with the services necessary to assure the success of our neighborhood library.
We are proud to share with you some of our library's recent accomplishments. We offered over 451 free programs. More than 372 of those were specifically aimed at children, and 79 were organized for adults and young people, resulting in attendance of over 4,428. We partnered with the JFK Museum, the YMCA, Cape Cod Child Development, Sturgis Public Charter Schools, The Hyannis Civic Association and Barnstable Public Schools, to continually position our village library as a significant center for cultural and civic events.
We have upgraded our security systems both inside and out. We also have seen tremendous growth in our exam proctoring services for college students and adult learners taking on-line classes. We continue to provide services to our home bound patrons, thanks to our volunteers. All in all, the staff works tirelessly to respond to the needs of the greater Hyannis Community, which are forever changing.
Please remember that we depend upon and greatly appreciate your continued support and generosity , every dollar of which goes directly toward our operations and programs.
In advance, we extend to you our heartfelt thanks and, as always, your gift is fully tax- deductible.
